Disputes: In the event of any dispute arising from, or in connection with, these Terms and conditions, the party claiming there is a Dispute must give written notice to the other party setting out the details of the Dispute and proposing a resolution. Within 7 days after receiving the notice, the parties must, from who have the authority to reach a resolution on behalf of the party, must attempt to resolve the Dispute or agree on the method of resolving the Dispute by other means, in good faith. All aspects of every such conference, except the fact of the occurrence of the conference, will be privileged. If the parties do not resolve the Dispute, or (if the Dispute is not resolved) agree on an alternate method to resolve the Dispute, within 21 days after receipt of the notice, the Dispute may be referred by either party (by notice in writing to the other party) to litigation.

Jurisdiction: Your use of our Site and these Terms are governed by the laws of [Western Australia]. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts operating in [Western Australia ] and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts and waive any right to object to proceedings being brought in those courts.

Shipping:
Thread Lane cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or transport issues. The Purchaser is responsible for providing accurate delivery instructions and address details in writing. If the nominated courier is unable to deliver the order due to incorrect information provided by the Purchaser, a re-delivery fee may apply. This fee will be charged to the Purchaser’s credit card.
If a delivery attempt is made and no one is available to sign for the product, it will be classified as an ‘Authority to Leave’ transaction, and the item will be left at the delivery address at purchaser’s responsibility.
Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thread Lane shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses incurred by the Purchaser in connection with the supply of goods. Thread Lane’s liability is limited solely to the cost of supplying or re-supplying the goods as per these terms.
Returns and exchanges:
Please be aware that we strive to describe our products on our website as accurately as possible. However, please note that pictures may differ to the exact product, due to variations in lighting conditions within a room may result in differences in colour and shades of items.
In special circumstances we can offer you a refund or exchange, subject to the following:
- We must be notified via email at hello@threadlane.com.au within 7 days of receipt of the rug and items must be returned within 14 days. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- All items must be in its original condition, original packaging and not damaged.
- The purchaser is responsible for the cost of freight of the returning goods. This amount will be deducted from original purchase price. Indicative costs below.
- We reserve the right to reject any returned items that are not returned in their original condition. These items will be returned the customer at their expense.
- We are not responsible for damaged or lost in transit for returned Rugs.
- Refund or exchange is subject to final approval from us.
- We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges on final sale or clearance items.

Damaged Or Faulty Products
Kindly be aware that handmade products crafted from natural fibres may vary in colour, size, and might exhibit minor imperfections in weave detail.
Occasional sprouting yarns, where strands of wool have begun and ended during the weaving process, may be visible or become apparent over time. These traits are not considered defects; rather, they are natural characteristics inherent to our products. We do not accept returns for faulty products based on these features.
Should you receive an item that you suspect to be faulty, please reach out to our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the goods at hello@threadlane.com.au.
Please include a brief description of the issue along with any relevant photos, if possible. Our team will assess the product and determine whether repair, replacement, or refund is appropriate on a case-by-case basis. We follow ACCC guidelines and reserve the right to repair items where feasible.
If you’ve received an item damaged during transit, please contact our Customer Service team within 48 hours of delivery at hello@threadlane.com.au. Be sure to provide clear photos displaying the damage for prompt assistance.
Warranties on goods:
Any conditions, warranties, or other provisions that apply to the goods under the Australian Consumer Law (as amended from time to time) or any other relevant legislation from the Commonwealth of Australia, the State of Western Australia, or any other jurisdiction, and which cannot be excluded by law, will apply without limitation or modification. All other warranties, conditions, or guarantees that may be implied by statute, trade usage, or otherwise (including those relating to quality or fitness for a particular purpose) are expressly excluded from these Terms and Conditions.
Warranties and disclaimers: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties about our Site or the Content, including (without limitation) that:
- they are complete, accurate, reliable, up-to-date and suitable for any particular purpose;
- access will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses; or
- our Site will be secure.

Order cancellation:

Thread Lane reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion, without prior notice.
Cancellation by Purchaser
We strive to ship online orders within one to two business days of receipt. If you wish to cancel an order after payment has been processed, please contact us as soon as possible.
Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel it. In this case, the order will be subject to our returns and exchange policy.
Photos on Website:
The website provides the most accurate representation of the product and its colour. However, colour variations may occur due to differences in computer image quality and screen settings. Thread Lane will not accept claims of a product being faulty if the customer believes the colour does not exactly match how the item appears on their screen.
